Our 5 week full Stay and Train program is an all round comprehensive program to cover all of the essentials you need for every day life. 
It sets your dog up to cope with life in a way that it is easy to have them around and include them in your activities. It opens up the options for places you can go and situations you can put them in, knowing that they will make you proud of them!  
Behaviours and commands covered during the training:
  • ​Teaching essential commands such as, sit, down, bed, come.
  • Leash reactivity
  • Holding commands around distractions 
  • Relaxing on command
  • Leash manners and calm walking
  • Off leash Heel command around distractions
  • Impulse control in exciting situations
  • Ability to relax in public and in town, eg cafes, parks
  • Reliable Recall
  • Impulse control around other dogs

At times our dogs need a little extra help and are struggling with bigger issues that can make life tough. 

Our program can be extended, as needed, to 5-6 weeks to include working with your dog through these issues as well.

Follow Up Program
Our follow up program is the most important part of the program. This is where you learn everything the dog knows and are taught how to achieve the same results at home. The training is simple, but there is a small amount of homework for you to ensure that the training "sticks" and the results you want are realised. We work hard to ensure a smooth transition home for the dog and for you. 
  • We provide multiple in-home sessions to teach you everything you need to know and practice the new skills in public to help you gain the confidence you need. 
  • We also offer weekend Dog + Owner walks to join other owners who have done the program, for a walk through town, followed with a cafe stop. Or a bush walk of joyful fun. These are run on a regular basis and are designed to help you step outside your comfort zone and help you to tackle situations that you may be too nervous to do by yourself. We are there with you every step of the way to help and support you if you have questions.
  • Our Refresher group classes, are best attended 6-12 months down the track, and are a great way to keep you on the right track and teach you even more, to help you keep progressing and remind you of things you may have forgotten. 
  • ​Plus we are here to help you. Whether its weird questions or us tagging along as you try something new, we are here to support you as you open the door to new opportunities and adventures with your dog.
After the program, your dog is always sorted for holidays with discounted Homestay rates if you ever need a place for your dog to stay when you go away!
