Roman is a your typical German Shepherd puppy. Hes energetic, boisterous and wants to explore all that the world has to offer! 
He is a high drive dog, which means he needs a life of adventure, rather than to be your couch buddy (though he will be that too). Walks around the block are not enough for this dude who needs to get out and run. 

He is young and still learning and so he will need all the training and time that every puppy requires. But he currently has a good basic obedience including a bed command and his leash manners are fairly good. 
Roman loves to train and learn and would love a home who loves hiking, biking and getting out for adventures! He is always up for some fun!

Roman loves other dogs and playing, he would be best suited to an adult large breed (2+yrs / 40kgs plus).

His favourite things are playing with you, running with a bike and his doggy friends. 
Roman has had 3 homes in his short life (due to no fault of his own). By that time, he had picked up some bad habits that made him unfit to be rehomed. After some TLC and training, Roman is now ready to meet his new home and start his new life. 
Roman is hoping for a home who love him for his energetic personality and is willing to put in the training that all puppies need in order to succeed. 
Roman comes with a training session when he goes home with you, as well as a follow up session to ensure it is all going smoothly. We are here to support you and ensure that you and Roman are a great match.

His adoption fee helps to cover some of our costs of housing and training while he has been with us.

Roman needs:
  • Lots of exercise - forget the stroll around the block, this boy needs time to run! 
  • Structure and boundaries - Roman needs owners who will have rules and keep them, not just let him do as he pleases because he is cute!
  • Training - Roman loves to learn tricks and new commands! he would do great at agility or dog sports and loves it when you have time to train him!
  • He is happy as an only dog or with friends, as along as any dogs have manners and are not jealous or guarding of items or people.
  • Roman is not suited to a home with cats or pocket pets.
  • Roman is crate trained, but is also happy to sleep outside in a kennel.
  • Roman enjoys running with a bike, hiking, walks and running in the bush! He loves water and mud.
  • Roman is not suited to dog parks, but he will love playing with your friends large dogs.
